Last we heard on December 16 Ledger was testing and required Coranos upgrade his server. He took care of this and it fixed the issue. No other updates since. Also, Ledger stopped testing from August to December for no reason. Then said the developer doing our testing had other end of year goals. As always, it’s out of our hands and Coranos continues to be on top of it when they are responsive.

We have noticed a post that is falsely claiming the Elastos Telegram is engaged in an ETH airdrop. The account claiming this is not managed by anyone at Elastos. The Elastos Foundation is not involved in any airdrops of any kind. Please do not participate in any such claims.
Happy New Year! Seeing is believing in 2020 for Elastonians. We have gone a long way to get where we are now in two years and a half, 2020 will be critical for us to take the number one spot in market share in terms of active daily dApp users combined on the Elastos Smartweb, comparing to any blockchain project in the world. When I talk about dApps, I mean mobile apps that can’t be manipulated by websites. For the record, EF is building a Smartweb computer, CRC will be running it. It’s not a who’s taking over whom issue. Both should work in tandem toward a common goal in 2020, i.e., achieving the number one position in market share. Focus Pinky, focus!

A large volume of inquiries have been recently received from the community pertaining to Ledger integration. Due to the popularity of this issue, Elastos’ network of decentralized teams would like to clarify the status of this project to the community at large by issuing the following statement:Ledger integration has always been a community-run project. Interest in Ledger began when community members voiced interest in establishing Ledger integration, and from these conversations a community member named Coranos offered to work on this project on behalf of the community. Over the last year, Coranos has worked on this project while keeping Elastos up to date on his progress. At this stage, the wallet has been listed in dev status. However, without a proper UI design, the application will not provide an adequate user experience. Currently, Coranos has offered to work with any qualified community members who want to take on the necessary design upgrades with him.It is important to note that the Elastos Foundation and peripheral Elastos teams will not maintain this wallet now, nor in the future. Projects of this nature need to be community-led, not only to ensure their successful completion, but to set a precedent that ensures the future of an autonomous Elastos ecosystem. This is a worthy project for qualified community members to contribute to, and it is recommended that Cyber Republic Proposals be created to complete projects selected by the community. If interested in helping with this project, please contact our Community Manager on Telegram: https://t.me/Mr_Tman
The endeavor started in February of 2020, the year of the Dragon. Twenty long years have passed by. I came up with the project name, Elastos, on an airplane en route from Beijing to Seattle. It’s purely a fluke that Elastic Cloud Computing, aka EC2 (Elasto-s) was chosen by Amazon in 2006. It’s even more amazing to find out that there wouldn’t be any more Windows after Win10 in 2015 (e-last-OS), as if I had predicted the future e-last-os 13 years earlier.
Rong, what’s going on with ViewChain? Did they achieve their goal of 1m DID? If so, was there a press release discussing the significance? You mentioned that when they achieved this milestone then and only then would they access the ELA the ecosystem fund provided. Did this happen?
They registered more than 1.3 million DIDs (old version) as they promised. They are evaluating on porting the new W3C compatible DID at the moment. But due to the prolonged bear market, I haven’t heard anything about whether ViewChain tokens would proceed to release. The short answer to your question is NO and NO.
