I am still thinking how I can make it more transparent to let users believe that there is no back door.So basically every vault is a smart contract on its own. Data is encrypted by the private key. So only the owner can only decrypt. Also the encrypted data is stored inside the smart contract so even the encrypted data can be accessed only the owner.
I will open source the smart contract code atleast. But I am still thinking how I can be more transparent. Any feedback on this would be helpful. What makes you to trust ledger? If they are already making it more transparent in someway I can also try to follow that approach in Devault.
I think what is important now is to make the foundation of the project (technology and business model) right. no hurry to kiss ass of big companies. they will come to us once we have something solid in hand. of course, we have all kinds of connections to them here and there. but first, let's make sure we have guns and bullets in hands that deserve their respect.
